Quiiick Post

This is just going to be a reeeally quick post because my house is mayhem and the fact that I can get away from everyone for even 5 minutes is a small miracle!
I went out last night to a friends house for our secret santa night and I got this http://www.accessorize.com/en/restofworld/chunky-twisted-snood/invt/98741620/  I had been wanting this for ages but never got around to getting it and my amazing friend racheal got me it!
I also got Sally Hansen 'hard as diamonds' and a face mask from Lush which I plan to try on tonight!

So I know this was a really quick post and i do appologise but hey it's Christmas and all my family is up and they are driving me CRAZY! but they are family...

OH! and I am the proud winner of that little nail competition! haaahahahaha! WHEEEY JESS!

And I also want to thank http://optimisticbutneverquiteelegant.blogspot.com/2011/12/versatile-blogger-awards.html for giving me the versatile blogger award! I want to do it really soon but as I am suuuper stressed I will have to do it in about a couple of days!

HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS TOMORROW GUYS!

Christmasy nails!

So if you haven't noticed by the background of my blog yet that I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

but, for some odd reason this year I have found it really difficult to get into the christmas mood! I was on Skype to my lovely friend Jessica and we started talking about christmas and then she spilled her nail polish EVERYWHERE! It was so funny and she claimed to have 'the most christmasy nails' so I took that as a challenge and like my colourful christmas tree my 'Christmas Bauble' nails were born!

This post is turning into more of a competition because I am going to leave to my followers (there may not be a lot of you but I do trust your judgement!)

WHICH NAILS ARE MORE CHRISTMASY!?

(I will leave the nails anonymous for the time being and reveal which is whose later)

Which set of nails do you prefer?

Zzzzzebra Nails!

Sorry for not posting yesterday but I was in the hospital in surgery so I will make up for it over the next few days, promise.

OK so even though there was no point I painted my nails!

...when I say painted I mean foils!!

These are my first foils and my sister done them! they are so nice on!

What do you think? Do you like foils better than nail polish?

I like matte nail polish at the moment but I have to admit I do love the way the foils look on my nails!

Product Review + Mini Haul!

MaxFactor Pam Stick!

This makes skin look flawless! It covers acne scars, blemishes and uneven skin tones.

It looks like a concealer but its a foundation with amazing coverage!

The prices varies but I got mine for about £7 and I have been using it for 2 months now! It is soooooooo good!!

If you want to know anything else just comment and ask!

(the lighting in my room is really odd so I am sorry about the pictures!)

It's small so it fits easily into my already full make-up bag.

I also have Rimmle nail polish on from the new Lycra range, colour 'Trend Spotting' And again I am sorry for the
chippedness! haha!

(Me with no other make up but the Pam Stick on)

Mini Haul!!!

I got today -after being dragged from my house still ill- I went to livingston 'The Centre'

THEY HAVE A LUSH NOW!

1. Round Brush- from boots around £3

2. Snow Fairy Gift Set- £10.59

3. Bubblegum lip scrub- £3

5. H&M necklace- £3.99

I got the gift set and the necklace for my friends secret santa!

The rest was just cause I needed them and the bubblegum scrub smells amazing!!!

I'm trying to find a good eyebrow pencil but all the ones i have tried so far are reeeeeally dark or to light, so i need a sorta dark brown one...if anyone has any recommendations!

Ceilidh!!!

At my school we have a Prom, but before the prom normally sometime in January we have a Ceilidh!!!

I am looking forward to it soooo much! And today my dress just arrived!

I ordered it of the site www.fashionunion.com who's service and delivery were amazing, even through Scotlands famous 'Hurricane Bawbag' (best. name. ever)

So my inspiration for my ceilidh outfit was thee amazing Taylor Swift

(I am planning on doing my first tutorial on her hairstyle at some point...)

I fell in love with the black dress, and the sequins are beautiful. However I am not to keen on the lace part which yes I know is like the full dress but I already have 3 lace dresses so I wanted something a little different for the Ceilidh...

Sooooo I went with (after days of searching)

This amazing dress right here!

I AM IN LOVE!

It is fitted at the waist and not to short or low at the top...which is more suitable than most dresses my friends have picked. I think this is more suitable for a school event where all my teachers and other members of staff will be there!

I also purchased the cream one as well!

I will post pictures of the dress, hair and make up when i decide what I want...or I might put it to a vote...hmmmmm.

Triple Resist...

I have been ill for the past 3 months (not going to get into it though) and my hair has struggled through it the most, and I asked my stylist what products I should use and she recommended Triple Resist.

Triple Resist which contains ARGININE + PROTEIN.

I was rather sceptical about trying this as I rather like my body shop coconut hair products but as soon as I had tried this I was shocked!

I washed my hair with the shampoo and then sat with the conditioner using it as a mask for my hair for 3o minutes and when I washed it out and dried my hair I was gladly proved wrong!

My hair was soft, silky and smelled amazing! So i gave the rest of my stock of coconut hair products to my mum (who also loves using them) and set my sights on trying the whole new range of products Elvive have came up with!

To Fringe or Not to Fringe?

(Original title I know...)

So about every 2 years I get a full fringe cut in, it seems to be my 'go to' hairstyle but i tend to avoid it during summer because of the heat even though I do live in Scotland.

I took this photo about 3 months ago, when I got a blunt cut fringe which i styled with Pantenes triple action volumizing mousse.

Then i decided to grow it out...

(Apologises for the bad picture quality)
I took this photo 2 weeks ago when I still had brown hair (I now have a full head of black/veeery dark brown hair) I styled this with Fudge Medium Hold Hair Putty (which smells amazing!)

So my question is...should i get it back? Or possibly try a middle parting which in Scotland at the moment seems to be growing in popularity...
